Preparations are going to the second round of the presidential election of Ukraine

“The State Enterprise of the NSC Olimpiyskiy has not received any official applications or draft agreements for debate between candidates for the presidency of Ukraine. The proposal of one of the presidential candidates ( was talking about Zelensky. - O. M. ) to hold such debates at the Olympic NSC stadium in Kiev is his own initiative. It was not discussed with the management of the state -owned enterprise and was not agreed with the schedule of events in the arena. In the event of the receipt of the relevant proposals, the administration of the NSC Olympic will consider them in a working order. We also declare that the Olympic NSC is an apolitical state enterprise ( so!-O . m. ** ) and does not take any part in the election campaign of any of the presidential candidates. ”

The second text as if stated: we got it, we will have to scoop up ... “On Friday, April 5, the Olympic NSC invites representatives of the media to a briefing about the possible conduct of the pre -election debate of presidential candidates in the arena. A briefing with the representative of the NSC Olympic will be held at 11.00 in the stadium bowl. Parts of accreditation ... ”and the transition by reference to the official Internet representative office of the President of Ukraine, from where: Petro Poroshenko will visit the“ Olympic ”at 9 am. The purpose of the early visit was not indicated. None of the presidential entourage, which was impossible, according to the official, was impossible, according to the official, the phrase “for testing”. Although Poroshenko arrived precisely in order to take tests in the NSC laboratory. And the press knew about it. At least one and a half hundred accredited colleagues with cameras and cameras almost from dawn, they took the line in the long corridor of the sports complex.

Soon, the head physician of the Kyiv city clinical hospital "Sociotherapy" Vladimir Yary held a short briefing. As it turned out, the studies were entrusted at once to four medical institutions: two communal - an ambulance hospital and a narcological hospital, two private - “medical” and “Boris”.

“Express test did not reveal the presence of psychoactive substances in the body of Petro Poroshenko,” Yary said. And he confirmed that a blood test for the presence of alcohol and narcotic substances will be ready within two hours, but the rest of the results will take more time.

“We took blood, urine and hair along with hair follicles,” said the head physician of “sociotherapy”. -Over the next two hours, we will have the opportunity to conduct a more detailed study with the help of a mass-selective gas chromatograph. These results will give the patient in writing. But the study of hair with hair follicles is a longer procedure, usually it takes at least two weeks. But we will make every effort to reduce this period as much as possible, ”the Yary promised.

Two hours later, on the air of the Direct television channel, Dr. Yary witnessed: a gas chromatograph did not find alcohol in the blood of Petro Poroshenko.

Mikhail Saakashvili posted on Facebook his own medical report with political conclusions: “I have long known Petro Poroshenko and I can testify that he is definitely not an alcoholic. The problem is that he brought the country to the handle on a sober head, and medicine has not yet come up with a test for fraud and inefficiency of management. This is checked by life, and, alas, few go through this test successfully. ”

The analysis showed disagreements

Presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky, contrary to his proposal to be “analyzed” with Peter Poroshenko, announced that he intends to check for the presence of alcohol or narcotic substances in the NSC, but in the modern private clinic “Eurolar”. Motivation: There are no appropriate conditions in the Olympic.

Zelensky arrived at Eurolab half an hour earlier than promised, at 7.30 Kyiv time. Journalists managed to make footage of his venous blood fence. A chair with a special comfortable armrest, in which the candidate in Eurolab was seated, of course, differed from the presidential couch and chair ... And then the Poroshenko team went on the attack. The speaker of the election headquarters Oleg Medvedev expressed the doubt to the press that Zelensky honestly, that is, according to medical protocols, fulfilled a promise - to give tests for alcohol and drugs. According to Medvedev, the owner of the Eurolab is an engaging, a long -standing kind acquaintance showman. And the candidate was taken not just by a doctor, but ... a masseur who starred in the series "matchmakers". - As far as we know, Zelensky did not give up hair. And, according to Ulyana Suprun, it is the hair that is the key material for the detection of drugs in the body. Hair retain traces of narcotic substances up to 90 days! - enlightened the journalists Oleg Medvedev. And he moved to the topic of the upcoming debate:

- We would like to conduct a meaningful discussion in the campaign, and not talk about blood, nails, urine and hair. We are a little ashamed of the world community, since we have a war with Russia, and we are discussing the tests of candidates: we surrendered, did not surrender that in them ... We, as the analysis shows, are quite serious disagreements between candidates in matters of the country's strategic development. Although Zelensky’s position is incomprehensible to many.

Medvedev admitted:

- I have been engaged in voting campaigns for almost twenty -five years, and life does not get tired of surprising! We agreed to the debate in the stadium, agreed to take tests. But this does not mean that we took Zelensky’s proposal to conduct a campaign in the future according to the rules of show business.

He repeated that Petro Poroshenko was playing for the debate in several stages. And he hopes that in the near future it will become clear whether these public meetings will take place in general.

But the topic of tests did not let go. Vladimir Zelensky placed on Facebook the results of a study of his own blood conducted in the Eurolab clinic: “Narcotic substances were not found in the studied peripheral blood sample.” On the official form there was a date: April 2 ... After 15 minutes, as journalists from Ukrainian Pravda reported, the presidential candidate issued an identical document already dated April 5. And in addition, the letter from the “Eurolab”: the biomaterial samples are additionally sent to the independent laboratory of the HM Hospitales clinic (Spain).

“In our history, an incident occurred with analyzes,” Vladimir commented. In turn, explanations also sounded from the clinic: “Please take into account the excitement of the employee. The operator in the sorting and sorting department of the material by mistake instead of the number 5 pressed by 2. We assure you that this error does not affect the result of the study, ”they assured the Eurolar.

Behind the bright events with blood and hair, the role of “UA: Suprilna Monnema” (“Public Broadcasting”) during the debate somehow went into the shadow. The press service of the channel decided to recall it: “There is a position of the Central Election Commission from 2014, where it is clearly spelled out-the debate takes place in the studio of the national broadcaster. Because now the word for the CEC. If they accept a new position in which this norm is excluded, then debates are possible. If not, then it will be a show, a discussion, but not a debate. ”

So far, in the Ukrainian Facebook segment, the leaders of the opinions ask voters to speak out who will “pull” the role of the leading in the duel of Petro Poroshenko and Vladimir Zelensky at the stadium (in the list of up to a dozen names of journalists and public figures), political scientists and lawyers offer options - how to combine the rule of law with a real situation.

Olga Aivazovskaya, the head of the civilian network of support, wrote on her page in the FB:

“... If presidential candidates want to unite the country, they will have to go to official debates ( in the studio. - O. M. ) , and to the stadium ... Everyone understands that the format of an enchanting show will be a more comfortable platform for Vladimir Zelensky, but Petro Poroshenko is more convenient for the traditional platform. They fight for their interest and the result of the debate, but I would still suggest thinking about conditions and law, refraining from the insults or positions of the supporters of each of them. ”

Aivazovskaya recalled that the law gives candidates the right to carry out campaigning measures, including debate, exclusively at the expense of the election fund. According to Olga, "if we are talking about the format of the stadium, then the costs for it must be covered by the candidates themselves in an equal proportion." But the law obliges the “suspension” to organize on April 19, that is, the day before the election, the debate for taxpayers. And this broadcast has the right to broadcast other television channels for free.

The head of the Grandian network recalled: the rules of television fiber are established by independent mediation structure, and not the headquarters of candidates and creative technologists. “I would also highly recommend that the presenters refrain from any political statements,” Aivazovskaya concluded.
