As a result - 11% of the votes. The upper limit of such support, according to sociologists, is about 15%. It is clear that electoral "arithmetic" is not reduced to simple addition and subtraction. But it is obvious that with 30 percent of Zelensky in the first round, public support for the side that has 11 percent and at the same time is perceived extremely negatively by everyone else is a game to lower the result of Zelensky.

The question remains, why would the Kremlin and its information services fuel the leader of the presidential race in Ukraine. To answer this question, you need to understand what the inhabitants of the Kremlin and Russian TV want from Ukraine. They want Ukraine to have – what? These goals have been repeatedly voiced on Russian TV programs by those who speak loudly what the Kremlin thinks. Kurginyans, Solovyovs and other Bagdasarovs constantly say that an explosion is about to happen in Ukraine, then there will be a big Chaos, and then a Split. As a result, there will be no Ukraine. Half will go to Russia, the rest will be divided by Poland and Hungary. How likely is such an option given such a crushing victory for Zelensky, which can happen if the result of the first round is proportionally reproduced in the second? That is, if there is something like 65:33 in favor of Zelensky? With such a consolidation of the nation, there is no need to talk about a split. A possible split is the victory of any candidate with a minimal advantage. Then you can arrange provocations, through your agents or with the help of "useful idiots" yell about fraud, play on the "non-recognition of the elections", and if possible, sprinkle the Ukrainian land with a lot of blood ... Even if it doesn't come out to chop off another piece of foreign territory, Ukraine it will be bad, which means, from the point of view of the inhabitants of the Kremlin and their TV, they should be fine. Because, apart from zero-sum games, they don’t know how to play anything else ...
