Sofia Apfelbaum will return to work on April 9 after house arrest is lifted

The director of the Russian Academic Youth Theater Sofya Apfelbaum will return to work on April 9, today the Moscow City Court canceled her house arrest. She, director Kirill Serebrennikov and producer Yuri Itin were released on bail.

“The Moscow City Court has canceled house arrest for the defendants in the Seventh Studio case. Sophia Apfelbaum, Kirill Serebrennikov and Yuri Itin were released on bail. Sofia Mikhailovna will return to work tomorrow! We waited!!! Urrrraaa!!!" says on the RAMT Facebook page.

The defendants in the case are accused of embezzlement of budgetary funds during the implementation of the theatrical project "Platform".
