US President Donald Trump fired the head of the country's Secret Service, Randolph Alles, reports The Guardian, citing the White House.
Alles took up this position in April 2017. In a statement, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders noted that Alles "has done a great job in the service over the past two years" and that the US president is grateful to him for more than 40 years of service to the country.
