The minibus turned into a car recreation: in Volgograd a sentence was sentenced for the "Revolution of Maltsev"

On April 5, in Volgograd, the process in the case of “supporters of Vyacheslav Maltsev” ended. Five people received terms from one and a half to three and a half years. On November 3, 2017, they sat in a minibus that was supposed to take them to Moscow. All convicts participated in the Volgograd chat about the “Revolution of November 5”, some of them were not previously familiar.

Trip at the expense of the FSB

21-year-old student Vladislav Bondarenko was one of the most active participants in the chats of Maltsev’s supporters in Volgograd. On November 1, 2017 he was detained by the FSB officers. After communicating with them and under their control, Bondarenko sent out reports that there was a free minibus to Moscow “for a revolution”.

Vladislav Bondarenko, Stanislav Babanov, Oleg Kostyk, Mikhail Turchchenko and Kirill Litvinenko sat in a minibus on the outskirts of Volgograd on November 3 and were immediately detained. Then, for several days, Babanov, Kostya and Turchenko were arrested under various administrative articles, then released. Then a criminal case was brought up. Bondarenko was sent to the pre -trial detention center on November 10, Kostika and Babanov - December 8. Turchchenko and Litvinenko were left at large - for full admission of guilt.

- My son was traveling to Moscow to participate in the festival of popular unity, to visit Aunt and stay to look for a job. They (the court and investigation- OVD-info ) see only preparations for riots and the overthrow of power. It is ignored that Maltsev called for a peaceful confrontation, ”says Oksana Babanova.

During the detention of 16-year-old Litvinenko, his father was seized-a carbine and a traumatic pistol. His adult comrades in misfortune have two helmets, a knife, scrap and a piece of mop. Some convicts admitted that they took them with them, some said that they threw them.

Oleg Kostya stated that during interrogations, a stun gun was used. Volgograd human rights defenders note that the confessions of the defendants in the case are stylistically very similar - they look as if they were given a signature, and not recorded from words.

16 and older

Four defendants were found guilty of preparing to participate in the riots. Vladislav Bondarenko was convicted of allegedly incitement to participate in the riots, as well as public calls for riots and to carry out extremist activities.

Vladislav Bondarenko received three and a half years in prison, Stanislav Babanov and Oleg Kostyk - 3 years, Mikhail Turchchenko - 2 years, Kirill Litvinenko - a year and a half conditionally.

At the time of the arrest, the accused was from 16 to 31. Litvinenko received the least as a minor. The carbine seized from him and the traumatic gun will be transferred to the Russian Guard. At the request indicated in a conditional sentence, Litvinenko should continue his studies for at least two years.

Turchchenko was taken into custody in the courtroom. Everyone who has received real terms has to serve a term in a general regime colony. Bondarenko, Kostya and Babanov were waiting for a sentence in a pre -trial detention center. According to the law on the test of one day in a pre -trial detention center for a half in a general regime colony, they have already served a significant part of the term.

They will appeal

- They left the courtroom under the escort. Parents are in the deepest stress. There are no faces on them, they cannot speak. It seems that they are about to just collapse on the floor unconscious. The guys are also in shock. Probably, they did not yet understand the essence of the sentence. They look at us with hope, believe that they will be protected from judicial arbitrariness, ”says Volgograd activist Tom Grodnikov.

During the process, local activists came to the courts - some convicts previously participated in the "walks of the opposition." True, most of the court went without spectators: the trial was closed at the initiative of Litvinenko’s lawyer, due to the fact that he is a minor. The mother of convicted Stanislav Babanova Oksana told the OVD-Info that they closed the court after journalists began to go to meetings.

- Babanov, who has a congenital heart disease ... After he complained about sharp weakness, anemia and pain in the heart, he was placed in the tuberculosis department! The weak, without immunity, which has lost about 20-30 kilograms sharply in weight. They kept him there for two weeks. It is still incomprehensible whether he had conducted an examination for which he was sent there. Mom did not provide the results of the tests at her request, and they certainly did not carry out the treatment. After the conversation has begun that we will make a request for a check of the content of the defendants, it is quickly returned to the pre -trial detention center, ”says Grodnikova.

Bondarenko’s lawyer Denis Potapov told the OVD-Info that he had no complaints about how the process passed.

Oksana Babanova says that Babanov, Kostik and Turchchenko intend to appeal the verdict. According to Potapov, Bondarenko will appeal the verdict partially: his client does not admit that he was preparing for the riots.

Volgograd history is not the first thing against the supporters of Vyacheslav Maltsev, where there is a provocation on the part of law enforcement officers. Events resembling a provocation of special services, almost simultaneously took place in New Moscow.
