The court refused Arashukov a complaint about extending the arrest

The Moscow City Court recognized the extension of the arrest temporarily removed from the post of Senator Raufu Arashukov, who is accused of participating in the criminal community and two murders, TASS reports.

During the complaint, the investigator insisted that the witnesses in the case could threaten danger up to the murder, since one of Arashukov’s accusations is the pressure on the witness.

“As follows from the operational certificate, pressure can be put on witnesses up to their murder. Witnesses who can testify can be put on pressure, they are threatened with physical reprisal. These materials are provided to the court, ”said the investigator.

The senator from the Karachay-Cherkessia Rauf Arashukov was detained on January 30 during a meeting of the Federation Council. On the same day, his father Raul Arashukov was detained. They are accused of participating in the criminal community.
