The regional Ministry of Ecology summed up the results of the experiment with the "smokeless" fuel, which took place in Krasnoyarsk from February 25 to March 12.

80% of Pokrovka, Nikolaevka, Bazaihi and MKRN “Botanical” - this is about 9 thousand households - from February 25 they drowned “smokeless” fuel. In these areas, more than 200 measurements on soot, suspended particles and benzapiren were made in parallel.

According to officials, the experiment was successful. According to their study, the concentration of carbon monoxide, dioxide and nitrogen oxide, suspended substances in the air decreased by 2 times. And the content of Benzapirene, the most dangerous substance for the body, decreased by almost 4 times.

True, what to do with the conclusions further is not clear to the end. Deputy Minister of Ecology, Igor Bartholomew, said that the data obtained "will form the basis for further work to improve the environmental situation in the city."

Krasnoyarsk ecologists also held their measurements. And they noted a decrease in the concentration of harmful substances in the air, emphasizing that not only private houses, but also enterprises that eat from small boat are transferred to “smokeless” briquettes.
