When shooting a selfie, the camera leaves for the mechanism and turns over.
Samsung introduced the Galaxy A80 smartphone with a frameless display without a “bang”. To do this, a selfie camera was removed from the device-its role is played by the back camera.
The device is equipped with three sensors: the main lens on 48 megapixels, an ultra-chiro on 8 megapixels and a 3D camera. During conventional shooting, the chambers are located behind, like other smartphones, but in the case of a selfie they move forward and turn forward. The company explained that thanks to this, users will not have to “sacrifice the quality of the selfies” because they will be removed by the main cameras with high resolution.
Galaxy A80 received a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels with a built-in fingerprint sensor. The smartphone works on the Octa Core processor, it was equipped with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes built -in.

A 3700 mAh battery was also placed in the device, which supports fast charge at a capacity of 25 watts. The smartphone will be released in gold, white and black colors in May 2019. In Russia, it can be purchased at a price of 4,990 rubles.

Together with the announcement of A80, Samsung announced that the A70 smartphone announced in March 2019 will appear on sale from April 26. In May, in addition to the A80, other devices of the Samsung medium -budget line - A10 , A20 , A30 and A50 will also be released.
Samsung is not the first to use a retractable mechanism to get rid of the “bangs”. In 2018, Vivo released NEX with a retractable selfie camera, and Xiaomi introduced the mi Mix 3 slider. However, Samsung was the first to unite both approaches.
