According to the relatives of the deceased Vladimir Kolmakov, on February 6 he was hospitalized in the Barguzinsky Central District Hospital with suspicion of bronchitis and bilateral inflammation of the lungs. The man was in serious condition, but for unknown reasons he was not placed in intensive care or intensive care unit.

The next day, Kolmakova was visited by his father. In the evening he returned to the hospital, but did not find his son in the common room.
