In Samara, a libertarian was hospitalized with a concussion after interrogation by the FSB

In Samara, member of the Libertarian Party of Russia (LPR) and photographer Ruslan Badartdinov was hospitalized with a concussion after being interrogated by FSB officers. This was reported by “7x7” with reference to the secretary of the Samara branch of the party, Boris Fedyukin. Badartdinov himself refused to communicate personally with journalists.

According to Fedyukin, on April 2, Badartdinov’s home was searched in connection with the explosion in the Arkhangelsk FSB building. The man's phone, computer, hard drives, photographic equipment and memory cards were confiscated.

After the search, Badartdinov was taken to the local FSB office. Fedyukin claims that the activist was interrogated without a protocol and beaten. According to him, the man was beaten on the head with his hands and a ruler, and was also subjected to psychological pressure and was told that he was “no longer a tenant.”

After interrogation by the FSB, Badartdinov was taken to the building of the Investigative Committee, where he was interrogated under the protocol and even recorded a complaint against the actions of the security forces.

Later, the activist developed headaches and insomnia. On April 8, he went to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed a concussion.

During the interrogation, law enforcement officers, according to Fedyukin, asked who Badartdinov communicates with, what organizations he belongs to, and what he does in his free time. He was also asked questions about the organizer of the terrorist attack in Arkhangelsk, Mikhail Zhlobitsky.

Badartdinov does not know why the FSB officers contacted him. In a conversation with Fedyukin, he claimed that he joined one of the anarchist chats after the explosion in Arkhangelsk.

• At the end of October 2018, 17-year-old anarchist Mikhail Zhlobitsky staged an explosion at the Arkhangelsk FSB Directorate. The young man himself died. After the terrorist attack, activists of various movements across the country began to be summoned for interviews, and several criminal cases were initiated.
• On April 2, new interrogations and searches took place in at least nine cities across the country. OVD-Info said that this is known. In total, about a hundred searches have already been carried out in connection with the explosion.
