The authorities clarified where the attackers of the Barabinsky schoolchildren studied

The suspects in the attack on minors in Barabinsk, Novosibirsk region, studied at colleges and high school. The authorities spoke about the shortcomings of preventive work with difficult teenagers.

The suspected teenagers studied at school No. 1, the Baraba branches of the Novosibirsk College of Transport Technologies and the Novosibirsk Regional College of Culture and Arts. This was reported to the district administration on April 12.

The Ministry of Education of the region previously claimed that information about the participation in the attack of one of the students of the transport college "does not correspond to reality."

On May 10, 2018, a shooting occurred in the Baraba branch of the transport college - one of the first-year students entered the classroom with a gun and opened fire. One student was injured and two others were injured after jumping out of a window. After the attack, the shooter committed suicide. Information immediately appeared on social networks and the media that the young man had problems in relationships with classmates, but they were not officially confirmed.

The Investigative Committee opened a case under Art. 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (beatings) on the fact of beating a 17-year-old schoolboy. Previously, three different videos of attacks on minors were published , the youngest of whom, according to social networks, is 13 years old.

“This situation is a signal for conducting extraordinary comprehensive inspections in municipal districts and urban districts of the region on the state of preventive work with minors who are prone to illegal actions,” the acting director believes. Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Region Elena Bakhareva. “Of course, the guys suffered not only physical, but also psychological trauma.”

Some attackers were engaged in martial arts in military-patriotic circles, including pankration. Such organizations, as it turned out, work at secondary schools in Barabinsk. According to the head of the regional federation of pankration Anatoly Merenkov, the defendants in the case did not participate in official competitions.
