Nine people escaped from a temporary detention center in Tuva. Among them are those detained on suspicion of murder

Update: One of those who escaped from the temporary detention center was detained near the place of escape, said representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs . He offered no resistance.

Nine detainees escaped from the temporary detention center (IVS) of the Barun-Khemchik district in Tuva.

During the escape, the department of the Investigative Committee for the region reported that "violence was used" against the employee of the temporary detention center. The issue of initiating a criminal case on encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer is being resolved.

In the inter-municipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation "Barun-Khemchiksky" told RIA Novosti that among the escaped detainees on suspicion of murder, robbery and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm.

The escape, according to representatives of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was accomplished when the detainees were taken to the store room to get their things. Two detainees attacked the policeman on duty and, threatening him, released the others. The policeman, according to the interlocutors of the agency, suffered slightly.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting an internal check to establish all the circumstances of the incident, Interfax reports .
