Moscow's Alexey Kozlov Club took first place in the list of the 100 best jazz clubs in the world, compiled based on the results of a vote on the All About Jazz website.
The second and third places in the ranking were taken by the Bop Stop venues in Cleveland (Ohio) and the Village Vanguard in New York. The fourth place was taken by the Philly Joeʼs club in Tallinn. The top five was rounded out by the Piedmont Piano Company, located in Oakland (California).
Iconic clubs Ronnie Scott's in London and Blue Note in New York took ninth and tenth places in the ranking, respectively.
All About Jazz has for the first time presented a rating of the best jazz venues in the world. Voting on the site ended on April 16, with 3,901 people taking part.
