Bykov’s hospitalization was also told by Interfax by the editor -in -chief of Echo of Moscow Alexei Venediktov. According to his words, the night before, the writer felt bad and was taken to the Ufa city hospital in connection with a chronic disease.

Later, in his Telegram channel, Venediktov specified that doctors evaluate Bykov’s condition as serious, but stable. “Dmitry Bykov has no stroke, and there is no suspicion of a stroke,” he added.
The acting Minister of Health of Bashkiria Maxim Zabelin also stated that the stroke was not confirmed by Bykov, but the patient's condition remains stably serious. “The best republican experts work with him,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
According to the BAZA Telegram channel, Dmitry Bykov became ill during the flight from Yekaterinburg to Ufa. After landing the writer, "was immediately taken to the first-aid post-he was disoriented, constantly addressed someone, called someone," the newspaper writes.
According to him, Bykov could not even go down on the ramp, he was taken out on a gurney. "At first glance, the doctors decided that we can talk about the consequences of an epileptic seizure, edema or brain tumor," the report said.
