The administrator of the telegram channel “Protest MSU”, Dmitry Ivanov, is a witness in a criminal case regarding a fire rally near the FSB building. The case was reclassified to a more serious charge. This was reported by OVD-Info lawyer Nikolai Fomin, who represented the interests of the activist.
In the afternoon they came to Ivanov with a search . Then the young man was taken for interrogation to the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Central Administrative District of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. He was released around 10 p.m.
On October 13, three people went to the FSB building on Lubyanka. One of them lit a fire as he walked and began shouting “Freedom for political prisoners!” On that day, the police detained a minor participant in the “perpetual protest” and blogger Nikita Vyshkvarka.
Two days later, on October 15, “perpetual protest” activist Alexei Klimishin was detained. He is in the status of a suspect.
Initially, a criminal case was opened under paragraph “b” of part 1 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code - hooliganism motivated by political, ideological, racial, national or religious hatred or enmity, or motivated by hatred or enmity towards any social group.
Nikolai Fomin reported that the case was reclassified to a more serious offense - the same act committed by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code).
