The head of Khakassia, Valentin Konovalov, turned to Vladimir Putin after the next meeting with representatives of IDGC of Siberia to resolve the debt of the republic for electricity. The governor called the actions of the power engineers sabotage and asked "to pay attention to the behavior of monopolist structures."

Konovalov published a video message on social networks, where he stated that a meeting with power engineers to resolve the financial situation with paying for electricity debt was torn, and the leadership of IDGC Siberia does not hear the position of the region and “requires money”. The governor turned to President Putin with a request to "pay attention to the behavior of monopolist structures."

“The amount of debt is about 400 million rubles, although in previous years the debts were much higher. For our part, we are conducting systematic work to repay the debt. Today, the republic’s budget has no debts to power engineers. Moreover, we are ready to pay an advance, ”says Konovalov. - We are taking measures within the framework of the current legislation and everything is done to solve this problem. What we see today - the meeting, in fact, was disrupted. The director of PJSC IDGC of Siberia does not accept any arguments and proposals on our part, demanding to give money. I declare with all responsibility - this is sabotage. We are put forward in a rough, ultimatical form. I consider the behavior of power engineers unacceptable, since I see in this not just the unwillingness to negotiate with the authorities, but the desire to put the life of half a million residents of the republic. I see in these actions a desire to destabilize the political situation in the region. I see the mercantile interest of the private structure. ”

Konovalov also turned to the supervisory and law enforcement agencies, the president of the country with a request to "pay attention to the behavior of monopolital structures in relation to the legitimate-chosen authorities and the people."

Representatives of IDGC of Siberia noted that they are ready for dialogue and intend to return to the issue of resolving the debt if there is a specific action plan.

“Now all the conditions are being created to drive the electric power industry of Khakassia into a systemic, protracted crisis in which the housing and communal services sphere are already. We understand our responsibility for the network complex of Khakassia, for light in the houses of the population. Therefore, we will take all measures provided for by law in order to prevent the electric power industry from destroying, as was done with the housing and communal services, ”said Pavel Akilin, General Directo of IDGC.
