The Central District Court of Novokuznetsk sentenced the mother of Protest Kuzbass coordinator Olga Gyammer to one and a half years probation. She was found guilty of using violence against a police officer (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Taiga.infowrites about this.
Gyammer’s interests were represented in court by lawyer from OVD-Info Maxim Marynych. A criminal case was opened against the woman in September 2018. The investigation believes that Gämmer hit a police officer during the arrest of Protest Kuzbass activist Mila Zemtsova. At that moment, the women were leaving the house in Novokuznetsk. The detention itself took place on September 9, before the protest against pension reform.
The case file states that the officer suffered “a bruise caused by the back of the nail plate.” Coordinator of “Protest Kuzbass” Lev Gyammer believes that a criminal case was opened against his mother because of his activities.
