A turning point in the development of the company was the construction of the Playrix office in Vologda. According to Igor Bukhman, they purchased land for the construction of an office building from a private person, but already in the process of erecting the foundation it turned out that the land, according to documents, belongs to both them and the city government. As a result, they had to pay for the land again.

After this episode, the brothers decided to move their headquarters to Dublin. They chose Ireland because of its clear legislation and low corporate tax for IT companies. A significant part of the company's employees work remotely from different cities.

In April 2019, the brothers were included by Bloomberg in the list of dollar billionaires, the fortune of each of them is estimated at $1.4 billion.
