On Saturday in Moscow, the conference "Forced digitization of personality or human freedom" was held. The main topic for discussion was the Federal Law “On Individual Accounting in the Compulsory Pension Insurance System”. Organizers and participants believe that SNILS becomes a "lifelong number-identifier of a person who gives access to all his personal information."

“All information about a person: information about his property, about his family, accounts in banks, a medical card, certificates, biometric data, etc. They will be stored in one place under the same number, and anyone can get access to them, from officials and law enforcement agencies to employees of banks and store sellers. In schools, the usual grades and exams are replaced by individual development paths and digital training. Representatives of banks are collecting biometric data from citizens and do not hide their plans for the further development of "digital profiles", up to chipping people, and also lobby for a reduction in cash turnover. All this happens without any consent of society, contrary to the will of many people, including the Russian Orthodox Church. Representatives of various public organizations in Russia decided to gather this conference in order to express their attitude to digitizing all aspects of a person’s life and develop a civil opposition program to this evil, ”the Tsarskoye Cross movement said in the VKontakte group , which was one of the organizers of the conference.

Among the other organizers are the Interregional Public Movement “Parental Committee” of the North Caucasus Federal District, the apparatus of the Public Commissioner for the Protection of the Family in St. Petersburg, the “Russian Economic Society named after Sharapov”, “Parental Committee of the Stavropol”, the Commonwealth of Veteran organizations “For Friends of its own”, “Association of parental committees and communities” and the movement “Forty-Minerals”.

According to RBC , the conference participants signed a resolution “against the introduction of a system of total electronic control over the population”, as well as “population chipping, destroying personal and family secrets”, “transfer of state functions to banks and other commercial structures”. The participants in the event demanded to ban the identification of citizens “using numbers” and biometric data, maintain paper document management and guarantee the receipt of state, banking and other services to citizens who refuse to automated processing their personal data. In addition, in the document they demanded to stop processing data through a single identification and authentication system and a single biometric system, as well as stop adopting new laws related to the centralized processing of personal data of citizens.

The publication is given by the words of Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin, who supported the organizers of the conference, saying that the movement against the collection of data on citizens "is connected not with the darkness, but with the deep spiritual intuition of our people."

“When the banking authorities receive a total amount of information about a person, it will definitely use it for the authorities. Young people will be afraid to argue with this system, and the elderly will simply be deleted from life, ”he said.

Recall that earlier this week, the famous Russian hockey player Pavel Datsyuk opposed the creation of a digital profile using SNILS. The striker of St. Petersburg SKA wrote an appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to cancel the relevant law signed by the head of state on April 1.

“The motivation of any Russian Orthodox person is to worry about the future of their children and loved ones. As written in a letter to Vladimir Vladimirovich, I believe that this bill is a threat to national security. I hope he will hear us. I believe that he is also worried about his loved ones and all our people. Tens of thousands of Russians write similar letters. I think the numbers will soon be measured in hundreds of thousands, ”Datsyuk said to Ridus .

The publication clarifies that in his decision to appeal to Putin with a request to cancel the Law Datsyuk, thanks to the opinion of the inhabitant of the monastery in honor of the Holy Royal Martyrs on Ganina Yama, Schiyigumen Sergius (Romanova), the confessor of Datsyuk, as well as, according to some reports, the State Duma of the Russian Federation Natalia Poklonskaya. In his sermons, Sergius opposes abruptly against SNILS and the assignment of numbers to the Russians.

The position of Datsyuk, Sergius and the organizers of the conference does not contradict the official course of the Russian Orthodox Church. Speaking at the end of January in the State Duma, Patriarch Kirill also touched on this topic. His words resemble the official website of the Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church.

“Some twist a finger at the temple when we are talking about it, and smile condescendingly, they say, what to take from these old -regime people, they are all against progress. Not against progress! But it is quite obvious that modern progress carries dangers and, first of all, for human freedom. Because genuine freedom does not imply global control over the human person - global control involves the apocalyptic prospect of the development of the human race. When we say, on the basis of the Holy Scriptures that the Antichrist will come, we mean the global control system carried out from one center and even one person, ”the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church said at a meeting with deputies.
