Another problematic Boeing model was found in the United States. As RBC writes , citing an investigation by the American newspaper The New York Times, quality problems were recently discovered with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner model.
According to the publication, during the assembly of Dreamliner aircraft, production speed is often prioritized over quality. Complaints from employees of the company where aircraft are assembled indicate, in particular, the use of damaged elements during assembly. Also, foreign objects are often found in new aircraft, such as work tools or metal shavings.
As a reminder, the 787 Dreamliner is Boeing’s flagship model for commercial transportation. The airliner conducted its first passenger flight in 2011.
Let us add that the American company Boeing is already under close attention of the public and authorities after two crashes of Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. More than 300 people died as a result of the disasters.
