Yandex.Taxi launched a rewards program for drivers on April 22, the company said in a statement. Drivers will be able to get an Alfa Bank or Yandex.Money bank card with cashback in rubles at all gas stations, car washes, dry cleaners, repair shops and fast food restaurants.

Drivers will also have access to discounts from Yandex.Taxi partners in supermarkets, cafes, mobile phone stores, hardware stores, etc., the message notes. Drivers will be able to see a list of partners in their taximeter and build a route to the desired point.

In addition, drivers will be able to take advantage of the new taximeter capabilities to drive idling less often or contact support more quickly.

There are four levels in the program (bronze, silver, gold and platinum). Access to the first level (bronze) can be obtained by making 10 trips without negative user reviews. Platinum level can be achieved by working about 40 hours per week and having a rating of at least 4.9. In April, the program will start working in eight cities: Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaluga, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Stavropol and Tolyatti, and from the middle of the year - in all cities where the service operates.
