"Heroes from our yard!": From Siberia to Ukraine

The project “Heroes from our court”, whose homeland is Novosibirsk, crossed the Russian borders. Now it will develop in Ukraine. In Mariupol, the project has already started, in line - other cities.

"Heroes from our yard!" From the Siberian brand, they quickly turned into an all -Russian one: today the project operates in 12 regions and in another eight it is in the launch stage. 1800 banners appeared on the streets of Russian cities, 2000 young champions took part in the project, 45, known throughout the country, Olympic athletes became his face. But the main result, according to the coordinator of the federal project "Children's Sport" in the Siberian Federal District Alexander Bormatov, is that, according to statistics, the influx of children in sports sections immediately increased by 27 percent!

The appearance of "heroes from our yard!" In Ukraine (“Khorobriser with our yard”) is a new page in the development of the project. In Mariupol, banners are already placed, where Ukrainian champions are photographed along with young athletes who have already succeeded in their sport.

Alexander Bormatov believes that today, when the relations of Russia and Ukraine are not the best period, the emergence of a Russian project on Ukrainian land is an important step: “Our peoples have always been and will be fraternal, and sport that has no boundaries, this is confirmed. The fact that Russian experience is in demand now in Ukraine says that a lot is united by us, and this cannot be forgotten! ”

“30 years ago I came to the gym and hit the world of the Greco-Roman struggle. And to this day I remain in it. I was lucky to train on the same carpet with the Olympic champion Vyacheslav Oleinik, world and European champions. Mariupol gave the country many honored masters of sports and masters of sports of international class.

I saw how the history of our sport, other species was created. I think that new generations should know her! It is very important for athletes recognition from society. The generation that will continue our traditions should know their predecessors, those who fought at the international competitions of the highest rank for the honor of the country.
