Ingushetia: three more detentions, search and arrest

In Ingushetia, on April 23, three protesters against the redivision of borders with Chechnya were detained: Akhmed Nalgiev, Khasan Katsiev and Rashid Aushev. Zubair Khamkhoev, who was previously detained, was placed in a pre-trial detention center.

Akhmed Nalgiev was detained at six o'clock in the morning in Magas, reported the telegram channel The Magas Times . Activatica clarified that he previously worked in the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Ingushetia.

The mother of the detainee told The Magas Times that before that, masked men had searched their house. The security forces did not say which department they were from. According to lawyer Kaloy Akhilgov, Nalgiev was charged with using violence against law enforcement officers (Article 318 of the Criminal Code) and taken to Nalchik.

Detention of Khasan Katsiev

On the morning of April 24, the second search took place at the home of one of the leaders of the protests, Akhmed Pogorov. His relatives told FortangaORG that the security forces drove up to the house in four cars without license plates. One of them showed an FSB major's ID.
