
The Lithuanian Foreign Department turned to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic Eimutis Misunasu with a request to prohibit the entry into the country of Russian artist Grigory Leps - that is, to include it in the black list compiled by the authorities.
The corresponding statement was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania last Friday, April 19, the local publication LRT.LT reported with reference to the press secretary of the Foreign Affairs Rasu Yakileitene.
The deputies of the Opposition Conservative Party “The Union of the Fatherland - Christian Democrats”, which declared the need to prohibit the entry into Lithuania to those artists who support the “aggressive foreign policy” of Russia or other states, addressed the similar request to Misyunas.
Leps Director Vladimir Uryupin told RBC : “There will be no comments regarding Lithuania, absolutely no.”
The Russian singer performed concerts in Lithuania in March 2019.
