A sequel to the novel A Clockwork Orange has been found in the archives of writer Anthony Burgess.

The Anthony Burgess International Foundation has found an unfinished sequel to A Clockwork Orange, reports The Guardian.

The book is called The Clockwork Condition, which can be translated as Clockwork Condition. The unfinished manuscript contains about 200 pages of text, notes and plans. The writer himself called the work "the main philosophical statement about the state of modern man."

Burgess wrote the book in 1972-1973 but left work on it. She was in the archives of his house in Italy. After the house was sold in 1993, the archive was transferred to the writer's fund. The manuscript was discovered by the director of the foundation, Andrew Biswell. According to him, he was contacted by several publishers who want to release the book.
