The MIFF Grand Prix went to the film “Personal Growth Training” directed by Farhat Sharipov

The main prize of the 41st Moscow International Film Festival (MIFF) was awarded to the film from Kazakhstan "Personal Growth Training" directed by Farhat Sharipov, Interfax reports.

The Special Jury Prize went to the film "The Life of Marine Life" directed by Zhang Chi from China.

Italian Valerio Mastandrea won the Best Director award for She Laughs.

Representatives of Russia this year did not receive the main awards of the Moscow Film Festival. At the same time, the Russian film “The Sun Doesn’t Set Above Me,” directed by Lyubov Borisova, received the Audience Choice Award.

• Personal Growth Training tells the story of a bank clerk, Kanat, who is going through a midlife crisis and whose life changes after meeting an old acquaintance.
• The Moscow Film Festival was first held in 1935, since 1959 it began to be held regularly. Director Nikita Mikhalkov has been the president of the festival since 1999.
