Blogger Mikhail Alferov was detained in Kemerovo. He was taken to judicial precinct No. 1 of the Kirovsky judicial district. OVD-Info was informed about this by activist Igor Gorlanov.

According to Gorlanov, Alferov was detained by two people without a uniform, they handcuffed him. The reason for the detention was the evasion of compulsory work in the case of an administrative offense.

Earlier, Alferov had already been detained on a similar occasion, this happened in January. After that, the magistrate arrested him for eight days.

20:20 Alferov was released, Igor Gorlanov told OVD-Info. In a video on Gorlanov's VKontakte page, Alferov explains that there is no evidence of his administrative offense in the case file. The meeting was postponed to April 30, the court ordered the official to provide evidence of evasion from compulsory work.

In June 2018, the blogger was assigned 160 hours of compulsory work because of a video about a rally against the former governor of the Kemerovo region, a deputy of the local legislative assembly, Aman Tuleev. Alferov was charged with a repeated violation of the rules for holding the action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The court considered that in the video on YouTube, he urges people to come to an uncoordinated rally on July 1.
