A journalist from Ingushetia said that security forces demanded that the activist name the administrator of the Magas Times public page.

In Ingushetia, activist Bekhan Khashagulgov was summoned for questioning at Center “E” and demanded to know who the administrator of the Magas Times public page was. This was reported by MBKh Media with reference to journalist Isabella Evloeva.

“He is a journalist, blogger and worked on local TV and radio, was one of those who broadcast at one of the rallies, and he was fined 20 thousand after that. The other day he was summoned for questioning at Center “E” and asked who is the administrator of the Magas Times public page,” Evloeva said, adding that she knows about “movements” to identify the administrators of all public pages.

In the fall of 2018, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and the leader of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, signed an agreement according to which part of the territory of the Sunzhensky district of Ingushetia passes to Chechnya. This decision was met with discontent among the residents of Ingushetia, whose protests continue to this day.

In March, during the dispersal of a rally in Magas against changes in the border with Chechnya, clashes occurred between demonstrators and security forces . As a result, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on calls for mass riots (Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) and the use of violence against government officials (318 of the Criminal Code).

According to estimates by the Memorial human rights center, a total of 16 people are involved in the case of clashes with security forces. It is not yet known about those arrested in the case of calls for unrest.
