The last time the Russian Guard fell into a major scandal with public procurement in August last year. Alexei Navalny published an investigation that claimed that the agency purchases products for its employees at high prices. In response, the head of the Russian Guard Viktor Zolotov called Navalny to a duel. Navalny proposed a debate as an alternative, but the general refused, and as a result, there was no duel or debate.
The response to the initiative of Zolotov’s department about secret purchases should now give the government. Experts explained to “New” why the Rosgvardia asks for secrecy.

- I would unify the rules in the opposite direction and declassify the expenses of the rest of the security forces. But in this case, I see no reason why the government may refuse the Russian Guard to classify. No one loves when a scandal flared around you. It doesn’t matter if they will resign you after that or not. If a scandal is flared around you, then you can’t cope with your front of work. It is easier that there are no scandals, but that they are not there - it is necessary that the information be of the minimum number.
When I read this news, I did not have any particular surprise. It seems to me that this is logical after the investigation was published, and it turned out that the supply of products to the Russian Guard occurs through the supplier firms controlled by Zolotov. The most reasonable for them, of course, is to prevent more of such investigations.
In general, General Zolotov is a not quite ordinary character. When Navalny published an investigation, Zolotov, apparently not consulting with the press service, began to carry completely unimaginable nonsense. And this continued until someone (very high, apparently) intervened. If it were an ordinary official, and he would demand to classify public procurement, I would say that he blurted out because everything is agreed and he knows what he says. In the case of Rosguardia, I have such a consideration - that they are not quite “ordinary”. They can take extravagant steps, and ask for a similar one.

- Who is pleased with the special vehicle “punisher” to advertise once again? And there, after all, not only he is alone - there is still a lot of other good for the fight against their own population.
I do not understand what exactly the same Ministry of Defense fears, classifying their state procurement. All over the world, this system is quite open, all the procurement plans there are literally updated in real time. Otherwise, it is simply impossible to control.
And with us, the most interesting, hides not a characteristic of the product, but its price. That is, the whole system of classification is initially corruption.
In fact, we participate in the sanctions form of the economic war. For all officials, this is a matter of honor and conscience to support the official trend "We will not give in, protect yourself, close from everyone." They just do everything like the Russian Guard. A little that they accept the semi -fainting state and they say, "We are offended, we will not show you anything else, now we will classify everything from you."
