The mother of the alleged author of “Stalingulag” spoke about the search of her home

The mother of Alexander Gorbunov, whom RBC named as of the anonymous telegram channel “Stalingulag,” Tatyana Gorbunova told the author The Bell how the search at her home took place.

According to her, on April 26 at about 10:30 p.m., a policeman in uniform and five other men in bulletproof vests and with machine guns came to her home. They introduced themselves as employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Leninsky district of Makhachkala - Gorbunova lives in this area.

“No ID or search warrant was shown. Then one of them said, say “thank you” that we came in peacefully and didn’t put you face down on the floor, because we don’t know who’s standing outside your door. The main one immediately asked: “Young houses?” I was surprised because my husband and I have been living here for a long time, I’m 65 years old, he’s 80 years old,” Gorbunova said.

The woman asked why the security forces came to her home. “He started talking about some nonsense. They say they received a call saying that something had been mined somewhere, either the airport in Moscow, or something else. I don’t understand, what does this have to do with us? He said the call was from our apartment. Apparently the number was not determined, but our address was determined. From here they could call from my mobile phone or from a landline,” Gorbunova recalled. She noted that the security forces ultimately did not inspect the phones that she had at home.

“They said: “The signal was from Moscow, we need to check it.” Then the investigator-captain of the Ministry of Internal Affairs came, he was wearing a uniform, and another senior lieutenant, also in uniform, and the rest of the guys left. These two searched and photographed the apartment until midnight,” says Gorbunova.

After the search, the Ministry of Internal Affairs did not appear. According to Tatyana Gorbunova, searches also came to relatives in Moscow.

On April 27, Stalingulag reported on a search of the relatives of Alexander Gorbunov, whom RBC called the author of this telegram channel. The channel itself did not confirm information about the possible author. “They are looking for Sanya under the article TELEPHONE TERRORISM, allegedly he called from his own (!) number and reported about mined objects in Moscow,” the channel wrote.

Then the telegram channel said that Gorbunov’s relatives in Dagestan and Moscow were asked when they last saw him, where he lives and what he does, how to contact him.
