The Meshchansky District Court of Moscow fined the coordinator of the Decommunization project Dmitry Tsorionov (Enteo) and Pussy Riot participant Maria Alyokhina for 20 thousand rubles. They were found guilty of violating the rules for holding a public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This is reported by MBKh Media and Mediazona .
The action took place on August 7, 2018 in Moscow. Then Enteo, together with Alyokhina, hung a poster on the building of the Federal Penitentiary Service with the inscription: "FSIN = GULAG." By doing this, they wanted to draw attention to the torture in the colonies and the hard work of prisoners.
According to Enteo, he learned about the fine for the share only now, when he came to the Yakimanka department. He was obliged to appear there after being detained for an action near the monument to Lenin, when Enteo, along with other activists of the "Decommunization", posted a banner on the pedestal with the inscription: "Subject to dismantling as part of decommunization."
As Mediazona notes, fines were issued to activists on November 6, 2018.
Initially, the news only reported a fine to Dmitry Enteo. Later, information about the fine of Maria Alekhina was added. In this regard, the title and text of the news have been changed.
