President Vladimir Putin signed the Autonomous Internet Law, according to the Internet portal of legal information.
Thus, the bill will enter into force on November 1, 2019.
According to the bill, Roskomnadzor will be centralized to manage the Russian Internet segment, filtering traffic, and providers will have to install devices “to counteract threats of sustainability”.

The document provides that equipment for the implementation of the project will be provided by the state. According to RBC, the costs of implementing the bill will amount to about 30 billion rubles.
