Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas suffered a heart attack during training

Porto goalkeeper Iker Casillas, 37, suffered an acute myocardial infarction during training on May 1. This information was confirmed by the press service of Porto.

Casillas was hospitalized. Now his life is not in danger, the press service reports. According to the Portuguese edition of A Bola, the goalkeeper will not enter the field until the end of the season.

• Casillas moved to Porto in 2015 and won the Portuguese championship and the country's Super Cup with him. Prior to that, Casillas played in Real Madrid, of which he is a pupil. As part of the Madrid club, he won the Spanish championship five times and won the Champions League three times. Casillas also played for Spain from 2000 to 2016.
