A motor rally for Victory Day was not approved in Tula

The administration of Tula refused to approve the rally for the Victory Day on May 9th. This was reported to OVD-Info in the regional committee of the Communist Party.

Previously, on May 5, participants in the rally drove through the central streets of the city, stopped at the monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and laid flowers. This year the action was not approved, referring to the rehearsal of the parade on Lenin Square.

Officials suggested that the organizers drive from the village of Sevryukovo to the village of Obidimo. This route partially passes along the M2 "Crimea" highway. The organizers assume that traffic along this road would create traffic jams, as many were returning from their summer cottages.
