The distributors of the Communist Party of the Communist Party were detained in Tula

Four distributors of the Tula Pravda Communist Party newspaper were detained in Tula. This was reported by the OTD-Info in the press service of the Tula regional committee of the party.

Four supporters of the Communist Party were detained on the morning of May 8. Among the detainees are the secretary of the Tula regional committee of the party and the editor -in -chief of the newspaper Mikhail Fedorov. He and another detainee were taken to the Central Police Department, two other detainees to the Soviet police department.

The police motivated the detention "by order of the authorities." The newspapers were seized for verification for extremism, the police will check the activists in connection with the possible unauthorized trade.

During the detention, the activists indicated to the police that the seizure could occur only by court decision, but the police ignored this statement.

Tula Pravda is an officially registered print publication. According to the press service of the Communists, earlier party activists were detained for the distribution of leaflets calling for a rally against raising in the city of tariffs of companies exporting garbage. Then the police also seized printed materials to check for extremism, while after a month and a half the leaflets did not return.

In addition to Mikhail Fedorov, the deputy of the meeting of representatives of the Yasnogorsk district of the Tula region Maxim Dronov and the former deputy of the regional Duma from the Communist Party Alexander Novikov turned out to be detained. According to the press service of the Tula regional committee of the Communist Party, at the moment all detainees are released from the police without drawing up protocols. Police seized 7 thousand copies of Tula Pravda.

On May 9 , according to the Tulactive portal, the Dronov still drew up a protocol. He was accused of the production and distribution of extremist materials (Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

It is reported that the police officers indicated in the drawn up the protocol: "He distributed newspapers that may contain an extremist nature."
