The elected president of Ukraine in his Facebook after visiting the grave of his grandfather today wrote that he went through the whole war and remained forever in his memory by a hero who defended the country from the Nazis.

Zelensky urged everyone to be grateful to veterans every day. He also called “thanksgiving” on May 9, when each is glad of the care of the inhuman ideology of Nazism into the past. He added that the war affected each family, and the contribution of Ukrainians to victory is huge.
