The court fined Dmitry Gudkov for a meeting of local residents near the court in Kolomna

The Kolomna City Court fined Dmitry Gudkov 15 thousand rubles because local residents gathered near the courthouse where his case was being heard. “Human Rights Postcards” writes about this.

The politician was found guilty of organizing a rally without giving notice (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). Gudkov's lawyer Oksana Oparenko intends to appeal this decision.

In December 2018, the Kolomna City Court fined Gudkov 20 thousand rubles, finding him guilty of organizing a rally against a landfill near Kolomna. Local residents and activists gathered outside the courthouse to support the politician. Most of them were not allowed into the building, Vyacheslav Egorov was detained, and a report was also drawn up against him under Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code.

Later, a case was opened against Egorov under the article on repeated violation of the procedure for organizing or holding rallies (Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code).
