In January, “New” (No. 7) published material on the criminal prosecution of Professor Evgenia Treshcheva, who split the legal community of the Samara region on those who studied with Treshcheva and retained a sense of gratitude to her, and those who bent under the “power structures” and hid their tongue behind his teeth.
Meanwhile, the “Treshcheeva case”, probably caused by the fact that shortly before that she publicly opposed the initiative of the former governor Nikolai Merkushkin to eliminate the Samara University in connection with the accession to the aviation institute, from the very beginning it was not worth a vacation egg.
Treshcheva was charged with “theft of state funds by fraud”: with the consent of the dean of the faculty and for medical reasons, she left for the sanatorium, where, along with the treatment, she continued scientific work and received about 20 thousand rubles in these two weeks. The case was initiated by the curators of the FSB Aviation Institute, although even from the most preferential point of view, the “Act of Treshcheva” could not be considered as a crime due to its insignificance (Article 14 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Just the lawyer (and student) Professor Trecheva Andrei Karnomazov said that after several attempts to resume and modify the CU in the Samara region, the case was still terminated for the lack of corpus delicti. The professor, in tears, thanks for this, the right principles of law, part of the legal community, the scientific and teaching world, the HRC, the Samara press, as well as the “new newspaper”.
