The wife of the defendant of the case "Network" received a shelter in Finland

The wife of the accused in the case of the "Network" in St. Petersburg Viktor Filinkov Alexander Aksenov received political asylum in Finland. She told the OVD-info about this.

"I'm very happy. I was waiting for this from last April. I think this will be a precedent for all other recipients, I will wait for the other [emigrants in the case of “Network” -OTD-Info ] will also soon receive positive. Now I am legalized and can provide myself, and help Vita. Previously, I lived on a refugee allowance, it is less than the subsistence level, now I can work or get an education. I plan to learn the language in order to have prospects, ”Aksenova commented on the decision of the Finnish authorities to provide her asylum.

Aksenova was forced to leave Russia, fearing the arrest and torture that her husband was subjected to. In the film, NTV "Dangerous Network" Aksenov was called one of the creators of a terrorist organization associated with the Ukrainian special services.

• Eleven young people in Penza and St. Petersburg are accused of creating and participating in the terrorist community (Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code). In addition, articles on the illegal storage of firearms and explosives (Article 222 of the Criminal Code), attempted arson from hooligan motives (part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code using part 3 of article 30) and the attempt for the production or sale of drugs on a large amount (clause 4 of article 228.1 of the Criminal Code using Part 3 of the Criminal Code) are appearing.
• According to the FSB, young people participated in an organization entitled "Network", the cells of which were allegedly in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Penza and Belarus. Participants in the "Network" allegedly prepared terrorist attacks to raise an armed rebellion. The defendants in the case face five to twenty years in prison.
