Metallurgists, oil workers and Mostotrest. Forbes named the most generous companies to management

The largest Russian companies pay top management, if taken as a whole, approximately the same - about one thousandth of their market capitalization per year, follows from data Forbes . There are interesting differences at the level of individual companies.

Who pays how much

• Norilsk Nickel turned out to be the most generous to the management (6.8 billion rubles with a capitalization of 2 trillion rubles), which was inferior to the leaders of the Russian market in terms of capitalization - Sberbank, Gazprom and Rosneft (about 4 billion rubles of rewards to "tops" for each ).
• Unexpectedly, Arkady Rotenberg's Mostotrest took the seventh place (2.5 billion rubles with a capitalization of only 41 billion rubles).
• Mostotrest's figure is difficult to interpret, but the point may be that the remuneration takes into account payments to the management of subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as lower managers. On the other hand, in 2017 the company's management received only 92 million rubles, and in 2018 Mostotrest built the automobile part of the Crimean bridge .
• Of the “big oil”, relatively modest rewards from Lukoil are less than 0.05% of capitalization.
• Manufacturing and service companies, on average, pay management more than market value. Thus, LSR Group and UWC paid out approximately 2% of capitalization.

In total, 25 companies of the Forbes rating spent 54.5 billion rubles on payments to management. The most generous were six oil and gas companies with 17.3 billion rubles. In second place are Sberbank, VTB and Tinkoff with a total remuneration of 9.6 billion rubles. Metallurgists came in third place at the expense of Norilsk Nickel with 9.4 billion rubles.
