Without mom

Mom raised her alone. I worked in three jobs. I did not pay attention to frequent headaches. Doctors said that it was migraines - from fatigue and overstrain. Mom simply swallowed the tablet "from the head" and went to work further. It was necessary to pay for the rental of the apartment, raise Christine. And when they did MRI, doctors only spread their hands: brain cancer in the fourth stage with metastases. Inoperable. She was given two months. Mom lived nine more. I spent the last months in the hospital.

Officers tried to pick up Christina. She ran away, hid in the hospital and with friends. And when they tracked and placed in a shelter, she already ran away from there. Until the director of the shelter had talked with a fugitive and promised to let the girl go to the hospital every day. Mom left is very difficult. Lost vision. But until the last minute I was worried about my daughter.

First love

Kristina was in an orphanage in Torzhok. He says that living conditions were good there. Educators and teachers helped. Only to finish 11 classes was not possible. After the ninth, everyone was sent to colleges. Kristina chose a hotel service department at the Tver Technological College.

She returned to Tver, where they lived with her mother. I met with all the old friends, and spun: a school friend, first love, first relations. Pregnancy. But there was not even a thought to get rid of the child. Only the news from the college scared Christina. She had to give birth at 17.5 years old. The child threatened to take the baby to the house until the age of the mother. There was only one way out: to urgently look for a guardian. The mother of a school girlfriend came to the rescue.

She made out custody and took Christina with the baby for six months - to her four children. Christina is still very grateful to her. But as soon as she hit 18, she left with the baby to live with her same young lover. A year later, the young dad walked. Christina did not hold on to him. Left. Now he does not help her in any way and is not interested in her son. They lived there and Sam - a young mother, her one -year -old son Cyril and a good -natured eared dog Max. Christina picked him up when she was pregnant. I could not pass by the freezing puppy. So the three of them and wandered around the apartments of friends.

A special case of homelessness

The notorious learned helplessness, which often happens with graduates of orphanages, is not about Christina. She knows how to stand up for herself. He knows what he wants. But to break through bureaucratic barriers even to an adult is very difficult.

Christina knew that the state, as an orphan, left without adult custody and without an apartment, should provide housing. The state, represented by the local ministry of social protection, did not seem to refuse, but referred to the law why this is impossible to do. It turned out a vicious circle.

In order to stimulate graduates of orphanages to learn at least some profession, to grow up a little more and take up the mind, a local law has been adopted in the Tver region: the orphan is not at the age of 18, as in the country as a whole, but at the end of the educational institution. I received a diploma - celebrate the housewarming. But any linear rule gives a failure as soon as the situation is slightly different from the standard.

This happened to Christina. She gave birth to her son at the age of 17, did not finish her studies, went to the academy. It was impossible to live in a hostel with a child. And the apartment was not given, because there is no diploma. The system stalled. Christina with a baby in her arms, in fact, remained on the street. No housing - no registration. Without registration, there is no line in kindergarten, children's benefits, part -time jobs. She explained that she has nowhere to live at all. She was answered that the law could not be bypassed. When the young mother was tired of her complaints to everyone, she was told that in such a situation only “constant” would help. From social protection called and sent Christina to the charity fund.

The Constant Foundation is the only one in the huge Tver region provides systemic comprehensive assistance to graduates of boarding schools and orphanages and families with children in a difficult life situation. Helps things and products, provides legal and psychological assistance, solves domestic tasks that the family is beyond strength. He does everything so that in a difficult situation the children remain in the family, and the parents survive.

And the “constant” helped how already helped dozens of the same confused teenagers, graduates of orphanages who have no sophisticated adults who are ready to support at a difficult moment.

Christine Constant Foundation paid for housing rental, helped issue temporary registration until it was possible to resolve the issue with the apartment. Helped with clothes, food and baby things, a bed, a stroller, a bath. In addition to the "constants", a childhood friend was also next to Christina. He dragged things, stayed with Cyril, if Christine had to leave on business. And imperceptibly friendly relations grew into a novel.

Christina came to the governor of the region with Kiryusha in her arms and a large belly. Representatives of all regional ministries sat in the office with the regional head. The governor listened to Christina, looked through the documents, looked at the baby and doubtfully asked the representative of social protection: “But there should probably be more with two children?” “No,” she snapped. - 29 squares, like everyone else. She is an orphan, not her children. " “Give me at least this,” Christina mentally prayed. The governor promised to solve the issue as soon as possible. And after a couple of days, Christina came by mail documents with the number of her queue. On the reference phone, they replied that, judging by the documents, it was not worth counting on a housewarming news before the end of 2019.

In winter, Christina had a daughter Angelina. They still lived in the apartment, which Christine rented a constant fund. And before the very publication of this maternal came from the fund: Christina received the keys to the apartment. Now she and the kids have her own house and permanent registration. And the "constant" is always nearby to substitute the shoulder, if necessary.
