The head of Sitting Rus', Olga Romanova, lost a trial to a former prisoner whom she accused of involvement in torture.

The former prisoner of the Mordovian colony IK-2, Inga Krivitskaya, won the court for the protection of honor and dignity against the head of the movement "For Human Rights" Lev Ponomarev and the founder of "Rus Sitting" Olga Romanova.

The court ordered Romanov to pay Krivitskaya 70 thousand rubles, and Ponomarev - 50 thousand as compensation for non-pecuniary damage.

Romanova and Ponomarev claimed that during her imprisonment Krivitskaya cooperated with the administration of the colony and took part in the beating of other convicts.

• Krivitskaya in September 2018 established a fund to help convicts "Rus Sitting". An organization with the same name and similar functions, created by Romanova, has existed for more than a decade - Krivitskaya claimed she did not know about it.
• Romanova wrote on her Facebook page that the Fsinovskie operas helped register Krivitskaya's fund.
