The confrontation between Trump and Pelosi warms up conversations about impeachment

The pressure on President Trump, which increases from all sides, makes his behavior in the public space more and more nervous. A possible initiation of impeachment by the House of Representatives, if it does not end in removal from power when voting in the Senate, will give democrats more opportunities for access to various documents.
Last week, a meeting was held between President Donald Trump, on the one hand, and the speaker of the House of Representatives of Nancy Pelosi and the head of the democratic minority in Senate Chuck Sumer on a possible agreement on large -scale infrastructure of the United States. It was assumed that at this meeting, agreements reached at a similar meeting a few weeks ago will be developed, when the Republican President and Democrats in Congress decided to invest two trillions of dollars in American transport arteries. However, Trump left the meeting a few minutes later, indicating that the infrastructure cannot be considered when the democrats are investigating the activities of both the administration and personally Trump.

After that, Pelosi said that she hopes that "either his family or administration staff will conduct a conversation about the psychological state of the president." Soon Trump, known for his manner of giving nicknames to politicians, called the speaker “crazy Nancy” and during the press conference asked his subordinates to testify that he was extremely calm.

Adding that he is a “very stable genius” (ExtremeLy Stable Genius).

Trump's “extreme stability” is caused by increased attention in relation to his financial affairs. Various committees of the House of Representatives wrote out the subpoenas requiring the submission of Trump's financial documents. According to the testimony of his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen, who was serving a prison term for a lie, Trump actively manipulated with estimates of his financial condition. When a loan was needed, he exaggerated it. When it was about paying taxes, he understated his profit.

Trump tried to block the summons of Congress. However, last week, at first, the Federal District Judge Amit Mecht in Washington instructed the Mazars USA accounting company, which served Trump, to submit information to Congress. Then the federal judge in the Southern District of New York, Edgardo Ramos, ordered Deutsche Bank and Capital One Financial Corp to fulfill the request of Congress.

Moreover, the New York Legislative Assembly controlled by the Democrats adopted Bill. According to this document, New York authorities will transfer the Trump declaration and his companies, which he filled out for the state tax service.

In the context of Russian plots of American politics, it should be noted that Richard Burr (the head of the Senate Intelligence Committee) caused the summons of Donald Trump Jr. in connection with possible suspicions of the Congress Lying regarding the construction project of Trump in Moscow, which was considered during the election campaign in 2016.

And last week, on Wednesday, Adam Schiff (the head of the Committee of the House of Intelligence Representatives) said that the confrontation with the general prosecutor of justice William Barr, who initially refused to show testimony to the House of Representatives and present the materials underlying Müller’s report ended.

Against the backdrop of the active opposition of Trump to Congress, conversations about impeachment are strengthened. It is important to emphasize that removal from power is produced by the Senate, where most of the Republicans. Of the latest counteraction stories, it is worth noting Trump’s ban on the dacha of the Don McGan (the former head legal adviser of the White House) based on the “executive privilege”. This is a legal concept, meaning the secrecy of the president’s negotiations with his subordinates.

Trying to convince Nancy Peloshi to begin the impeachment procedure, the left democrats indicate that it gives a wider right to access all kinds of documents than the “ordinary” right of the parliamentary agenda. Democrats will probably not remove the president from power, but will be able to dig up an additional incriminating evidence on him, which will come in handy during the election campaign for a place in the White House.
