The Volga District Military Court at a visiting meeting in Penza on May 28 for the second time refused the petition of the defense of the Penza and St. Petersburg case on the creation of the Network terrorist community, the 7x7 correspondent said.

Cases are considered separately, since, according to investigators, crimes were committed in different regions of the country. Penza is conducting a process against Ilya Shakursky, Dmitry Pchelintsev, Arman Sagynbaev, Vasily Kuksov, Andrei Chernov, Mikhail Kulkov and Maxim Ivankin. In St. Petersburg, Viktor Filinkov and Julia Boyarshinov are judged.

The defense side requested the association, as the court in St. Petersburg requested copies of files from carriers that are material evidence in the Penza case. Lawyers said that these materials have not yet been investigated in court in Penza. The court refused to satisfy the petition.

For the first time, the defense petitioned for the unification of cases on May 21.
