In the Magadan region, the lowest electoral rating of Russian President Vladimir Putin was recorded, according to the closed survey of the public opinion fund (FOM), by order of the Kremlin. There, only 36% of respondents were ready to vote for the president. The study was conducted in the Russian regions from mid -March to early April 2019.
During the survey, sociologists invited the respondents to answer the question: "Imagine that the election of the President of Russia will take place on the next Sunday, for which of the politicians you would vote?"
In the Magadan region, which is now headed by the former mayor of Nizhny Tagil Sergey Nosov ( leader of the anti -rating of governors ), the lowest rating of the current president was recorded - 36% of respondents are ready to vote for Putin, RBC reports. And on average in the country this figure is 48%.
- Putin as a symbol of degradation and corruption

The most serious problems with the popularity of the Russian leader and United Russia are really in the Far East.
Sociologists also revealed the region with the lowest rating of United Russia, it became the Khabarovsk Territory. Only 21% of respondents replied that they were ready to vote for this party in the elections if they took place on the nearly Sunday. On average, the United Russia rating in the country is 34%.
At the same time, the Russians still trust Putin more than other politicians. In second place from 14.8% is the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu, in the third - Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov (13%). The head of government Dmitry Medvedev is only the fifth with 7.6% and is inferior to the leader of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky (8.8%).
As noted by the registry political scientist Rostislav Turovsky, "this is far from news, but confirmation of the situation that has existed for many years and has manifested during election campaigns of the federal and regional levels in 2016-2018."
At the same time, the low rating of the president in the Magadan region looks paradoxical, since there is just the active implementation of large projects in the mining industry. In addition, the presidential and governor elections took place there quite favorable for the authorities.
Recall that in the presidential election last year, Putin received 72.3% of the vote. But by the end of May 2019, a personal confidence rating for the fairy tale president decreased to a historically minimum value of 31.7% .
