The Ministry of Industry and Trade asks to allocate about 10 billion rubles to continue the programs of preferential car loans and autolizing. About the newspaper "Vedomosti" writes with reference to sources.
As the publication recalls, the last two years sales of cars and light commercial cars in Russia grew double -digit pace, but did not reach the result of the record 2012. In 2019, a decline was recorded on the market, despite the launch of preferential car loans and autolizing programs, as well as programs for subsidizing gas engine procurement. Over 10 billion rubles were for these events in the budget (half as much than last year), and in May the money ended.
According to sources, of the 10 billion rubles requested by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, approximately 5-6 billion must be lending, and 4-5 billion for leasing. With the amount of funds necessary to further support the demand for gas engine equipment, the department has not yet been determined. Sources of additional financing can be the reserve fund of the government, receipts of utilization fee for cars and redistribution of budget funds, and the Vice-Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak should be made by the fundamental decision to extend the state support.
"We traditionally support the measures of demand for demand sold on a Russian fish," Renault said. According to the company, from March 1, 4411 Renault cars were sold in Russia for preferential lending programs, which amounted to 13.6% of the total sales of the brand.
“We believe that the state support programs in the automotive industry are certainly important. However, in our opinion, the extension of the programs on the current conditions will no longer give the positive effect as when they are launched, the representative of Nissan said, noting that the maximum cost of the machines participating in the programs should be raised to 1.5 million rubles.
According to the employee of another automaker, the refusal to extend the programs of preferential lending will especially hit the sales of gas engine equipment, since the discounts subsidized by the state allow us to offer cars at about the same price as the cars operating on traditional fuel.
Finally, the VTB Capital analyst Vladimir Bespalov considers the extension of the programs logical - the market is reduced and so far it is not clear how he will behave in the short term.
Recall that the updated programs of the preferential car loan "First car" and "Family car", for which the government allocated a total of 3 billion rubles, were launched on March 1, 2019. According to the terms of programs, participants can get a 10% discount when buying a car (in the Far East the discount will be 25%) on credit, but we are only talking about cars produced in Russia, the cost of which does not exceed 1 million rubles. By mid -April, the machine sales plan within these programs was completed by more than 70% .
Last year, 99.5 thousand vehicles were sold according to the first car and “family car” programs. Then the programs were closed in May, but in the summer they were launched again.
