About school, I generally have a lot of stories. And how else, if almost every day brings another delightful impressions and shocks? The ministry will come up with that in the middle of the school year we should suck new programs for new objects from a finger, then he will again compose some conference for students in grades 5–7 (the study for which the teacher will still be written for the most part, because the children do not yet understand all the intricacies of scientific work), in general, you are constantly faced with the rich imagination of the nationwide organs, and you can’t resist it from the word “completely”.

My favorite story began up recently, in early April, and it ends only now, although the academic year has already expired. So, let me talk about how one of the requirements of our time is being implemented at school - an electronic journal.

 Spoiler: Crookedly and not at all as it was conceived.

What is an electronic magazine and what the hell is it generally needed

An electronic journal is a huge system in which the data of students are stored, information about their performance (in other words, grades), at attendance, calendar-thematic planning (that is, a list of topics studied to the days), homework, reports on control work and many more many things that are in the work of the school.

Than it is convenient:

• It is easier to build a dialogue with students and parents: they have access to an electronic diary, where homework is visible, to which, by the way, you can add comments and attach files. Here you can also familiarize yourself with estimates.
• You can correct the grades if the student corrected something or brought the forgotten. Remember how we put two deuces at the school with a pencil? That is the case.
• My favorite part: the magazine automatically considers the average score. That is, for everything "Daryakstinna, what does it come to me ?????" You can answer quickly, looking at the last column.
• Through EG you can give ads to everyone-all-all-all-all-all, what is happening in the school and around it: contests, events, concerts and much more.

What is inconvenient:

• The electronic version is still not the only one: the reporting should be stored in paper form. There are several options further: the school either prints out what was filled in a year, or teachers in parallel lead a regular paper journal.
• Not all teachers are friends quite well with technology to control the EG. Of course, this is by no means a problem: our education system is so sad that young people are not eager for school. But still, it is not easy for a teacher with forty years of experience in a confused system.
• Another problem is not a developer, but people: some parents either lose their password from an electronic diary, then they deliberately score to use it, so that a huge amount of school information passes by.
• And one more problem, not-developer: children think something like “ah, it will still be in an electron”, do not put a task in a paper diary and forget about homework safely (and). And parents, over the years of their own training, accustomed to rely on the manuscript diary, think that nothing is set, there is nothing to check and ... well, you understand.
• Some systems that ensure the functioning of an electronic magazine do not work very stable: it will fly there, then it will hang, it will not save here, and there it will not open it at all. For example, the MSOKO subsystem in our school did not work somewhere until October. And in April the magazine was generally died. So we had to hastily restore the information and expect when everyone would fix it. And hope that databases will not be lost. Do you know what's the funniest?

And the fact that the magazine was promised to restore by May 27. Today is the thirtieth. Maybe the logic is this: the year is over, we will not write anything new in the magazine. But the trouble is: the data for the days that the system did not work has yet to be entered, and there, believe me, not two lines. So it turns out that hundreds of teachers from different regions who use the services of the same developer will either fight the legitimate vacation with the magazine, or to have fun with him in the early days of September. Not forgetting, however, that the 2019–2020 academic year also requires a place on the server.

Thank you at least for the fact that EG can be filled out of the house. And then, after all, personal data, all cases, could ban access from any places that are not a school. And it would work out exactly as some young children think: teachers live at school.
