In Moscow, a court fined six opponents of infill development in a park

The Nikulinsky District Court fined six opponents of infill development in the public garden of the Ochakovo-Matveevskoye district. This was reported to OVD-Info by lawyer Mikhail Biryukov, who represents their interests under an agreement with OVD-Info.

Five activists were fined 1,000 rubles each, and another 2,000 rubles. All of them were found guilty of disobeying the police (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

In addition, the court upheld the arrest of Ivan Rozhkov, another opponent of the development.

Biryukov sent appeals against decisions on fines to the Moscow City Court.

Earlier, two opponents of the development, Nadezhda Chizhova and Ivan Rozhkov, were left overnight at the police department. The next day, Rozhkov was arrested for 12 days, found guilty of repeated violation of the rules for holding the event (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Chizhova's case was closed due to the lack of corpus delicti. She was accused of participating in an uncoordinated event that interfered with traffic (part 6.1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
