A search was conducted in the apartment of a participant in a rally against changing the rules for holding a referendum in Ingushetia

In Moscow, the apartment of the former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia, Akhmed Pogorov, who participated in a rally against the actions of the leadership of Ingushetia, was searched. This was reported by the FortangaORG telegram channel with reference to the son of the activist Abubakr Pogorov.

Abukabr said that at the time of the search, Pogorov's wife and daughter were in the apartment. After the search, they disappeared. Their location is currently unknown.

A few days ago, a young man noticed that he was being followed and stayed overnight with a friend. This apartment was also searched. Two phones were confiscated from Abuqabra.

Since April 27, Pogorov has been on the federal wanted list. He is a witness in the case of protest actions in Magas. Searches in the activist's apartment took place before. On May 17, Pogorov's house was searched for the fourth time.

• On March 26, at a rally in Magas, about 10,000 people opposed changes to the rules for holding referendums in Ingushetia. They demanded that the issue of delimiting the borders between Ingushetia and neighboring republics be returned to the consideration of the inhabitants of the region.
• The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on incitement to mass riots (part 3 of article 212 of the Criminal Code) and the use of life-threatening and health-threatening violence against law enforcement officers (part 2 of article 318 of the Criminal Code). Already 26 people have become its defendants.
