The police took the politician to the local police department, where they drew up a protocol against him under the article on petty hooliganism (Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). He was kept at the OVD for about three hours.
As Saraev told MBKh Media, he was detained when local residents went to the park to prevent the passage of construction equipment. There was a conflict between the protesters and the construction guards, which caused the police to intervene. Only Sarajevo was detained.
As reported on the TPU Lyublino website, on the night of May 31 to June 1, the developer tried to fence off part of the square, as well as part of the pedestrian section of the street adjacent to it. After the start of clashes between activists and PSC employees, a paddy wagon and policemen in bulletproof vests appeared near the square. Activists write that as a result, the police, together with the guards of the construction site, organized a corridor for the passage of equipment.
